Cross Flagpole Topper
This cross was purchased in an antique store in Aruba during our July, 2016, vacation. The owner of the shop explained that this came from a local church and was once placed on a pole and used as a processional cross.
More commonly this brass cross is used as a flagpole topper atop the Christian flag when it is displayed in a house of worship.
This cross shows the effects of time, but reminds us of the place the cross of Christ has in our lives – at the top.
