Train Set
Ever since Rich was a little boy, he has been interested in toy train sets. Over the years he has owned various types and scales of trains. He started a collection of HO trains in 1972 with the birth of his son, Richard JT. Over the years he added cars, but only set the train up at Christmas.
After he moved to St. Charles in 2008 for Christmas in the downstairs spare bedroom. He moved the train table to the family room of the bottom level after that and left the display out all year. When the grandchildren were small, they would sit on Grandpa's lap and watch the trains go by.
Over the years he has added more to the set, including many deer that he was given by his brother Dan. These der belonged to our dad and were displayed every Christmas at his home. Today they are part of the train village and can be seen all year.
