Aruba Vacation
Mrs. Singenberger was a great fifth grade teacher at Carl Sandburg Junior High School, Mundelein, Illinois. She would inspire her students to be great.
One day she pulled down the wall map that hung above the chalk board and pointed to a little island in the Caribbean, just north of Venezuela. She announced to the class that this island would be a very nice place to visit someday. Ricky added “Visit Aruba” to his bucket list that day.
Fifty-Eight years later “Richard” would cross off “Visit Aruba” as he spent six days on the island. Accompanied by his wife, Carol, along with his brother Dan and his wife Tomasita, the visit was well worth the wait.
The island features sun drenched days, beautiful sand beaches, clear blue water and a desert that offers extraordinary sights.
