Grandma Cohrs Sugar Cookies
Ingredients::
1 stick butter
1/2 cup Wesson oil
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 egg
2 1/4 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
In large bowl sift together flour, salt, baking soda and cream of tartar
Cream oil, butter and both sugars in a separate bowl. Add vanilla and egg
Add flour bowl to mixture. Make round balls and roll into some sugar
Place on ungreased cookie sheet and press with small glass or fork
Bake 15 minutes or until light brown
