Oatmeal Cookies
Ingredients::
1 stick plus 6 Tbsp. butter, softened
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3 cups oats
1 cup raisins (can substitute Craisins)
Heat oven to 350 degrees
In large bowl, beat butter and sugars with mixer on medium until creamy
Add eggs and vanilla, beat well
Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and mix well into bowl
Add oats and raisins, mix well
Drop bough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet
Bake 8 - 10 minutes or until golden brown
Cool one minute on cookie sheets and then remove to wire rack for cooling
Cool completely
Stor tightly covered
