PGA Championship
I started golfing when I was 15, buying my first set of clubs for $65.00.
I would ride my bicycle, carrying my bag of clubs, to the course and shoot 18.
I played most summers up to my marriage, when golf became an unnecessary expense.
I did manage a round of 18 once a year at the Principal's conferences I attended.
I watched all the golf I could on television and my bucket list was to attend a PGA Championship to see the professionals in person.
My opportunity came when I was given tickets to the 100th PGA Championship held at Bellerive Country Club, just a short drive from my house. I invited Pastor Jason Reitz and Paul Schreiber to go with me. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
