Chief Petty Officer Pinning Ceremony​

While we were touring the USS Yorktown, we were privileged to witness a Chief Petty Officer Pinning Ceremony.

The Navy Chief's Motorcycle

The Chief Bike concept began in Everett, Wa. with the Greater Northwest CPOA almost five years ago. The idea, to create a themed chopper that would capture and memorialize some of the ideas, traditions and ethos of the Chief Petty Officer in a mobile work of art,

This bike was on display to commemorate the new Chief's Pinning.
