"By Kids...For Kids" was a project from Lutheran Hour Ministries that provided an opportunity for school children in North America to send a box of school supplies to students around the world.
In addition to school supplies the boxes contained a Bible story book in the native language of the recipient's country, a small toy and a personal note written by the student who packed the box.
Educators were provided a guide that provided instructions and support material for conducting the project in the local school.
Included in the support material were a series of grade appropriate lessons that teh local teacher could use to provide information about the recipient's country.
For the 1998 school year the country selected to receive the "By Kids...For Kids" boxes was Thailand. Bunny wrote the Preschool curriculum that was included in the Teacher's Guide.
