Israel - November 3-12, 2004
Bunny and Rich were invited to participate in the "A Journey to the Holy Land" Recording Tour from Lutheran Hour Ministries.
Rev. Ken Klaus, Speaker for the Lutheran Hour, would record two Lutheran Hour sermons from the Holy Land - a Christmas sermon from Bethlehem and an Easter sermon from Jerusalem.
Bunny was called to the New Jerusalem in August, 2004. Rev. Klaus asked if Rich would continue his involvement in the tour.
Rich was tasked to find a way that the school teachers and students of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod could experience Israel. To that end he developed a web page, "Kids Israel" that was designed that the school children could virtually participate. Included on the site were daily pictures and information about what was seen, but an opportunity to ask questions.
Rev. Daniel Hahn of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Sebewaing, MI, agreed to attend and help in the web process.
