Stained Glass Cross
Immanuel Lutheran Church, Sebewaing, MI, put on “Bazaars.” These events were held in the school gymnasium. Many tables were set up and members would have an opportunity to sell merchandise.
Merchandise ranged from home-made baked goods to hard goods normally sold at home parties (candles, cutlery, scrapbooks, etc.). One year a member made simple stained glass crosses in various colors. Rich purchased one.
Rich noticed that there were crosses left to be sold at the end of the sale, so he bought all that were left.
The red and white one is special, since it was the first one purchased.
