Metal Wedding Cross
This beautifully handcrafted cross is made by David Broussard, an artist from Dallas, Texas. He creates his art from carbon steel and a blow torch which creates the beautiful colors.
This unique cross was commissioned as a wedding gift to Carol and Rich from Pastor Ken and Pam Klaus. Pastor Klaus was the Speaker of The Lutheran Hour from 2002 – 2010.
The cross is inscribed “2 Cor 5:17” The full passage is:
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
This cross reminds us of the new family created by the marriage of Rich and Carol. It also reminds us of the new person we will be in heaven through the work of Christ on the cross, for we are made sinless, a new creature.
